Start with trusted public resources

Area Agencies on Aging, Eldercare Locator, Texas aging and disability resource networks, libraries, senior centers, and local nonprofits may help families identify programs and eligibility questions.

Build a personal resource list

Save the names and phone numbers of the person’s primary clinical contacts, emergency contacts, pharmacy, transportation options, meal resources, and any agency or caregiver already involved.

Know what Hearthline can and cannot do

Hearthline can help organize a nonmedical care question and, after permission, connect a family with an appropriate local provider. It does not diagnose, provide emergency care, replace a clinician, or determine eligibility for public programs.
